Wendy Scott

Wendy Scott is a former linguist and academic manager. In retirement she has taken up poetry writing again, one of the passions of her youth. Her poems, some in traditional form, some in free verse, are often based on life experiences, but sometimes the subject even surprises her!
She has had five poems published in separate anthologies:
‘Splitting the Seam’ in ‘Sussex Seams Two.’ Ed. Paul Foster. UCC & WSCC (1999)
‘An Ovum’s Response’ in ‘Small Wonders.’ Trafford Publishing. (2007)
‘Temple Turtle’ in ‘The Five by Five Collection 2006.’ Q.Q. Press (2007) and
a haiku in each of ‘Space’ (2000) and ‘Flat’ (2001) published by The British Haiku Society.
