'My Dreams' by Laine Deeming
Often I just drift far away, to America, to Asia, anywhere I want.
Other times I just stay where I am
Stuck on the spot, swaying side to side
But I don't go anywhere
Like a Weeble wobbling from side to side yet not falling down.
But other times I just sit in a wooden chair and stop
And stare out of the window
And smile as I see two pigeons
Playing on a roof top
And then fly far away like I do in my bed.
Sometimes I am in a scene; scary, joyful or sad
But I smile anyway because I know I am safe. funny |
